New Zealand sits across the Tasman from Australia. The two are the Oceania countries on WSKF Australia's worldwide list.
01One federation
The same karate on both sides of the Tasman
WSKF in New Zealand and WSKF Australia are part of the same World Shotokan Karate-do Federation, led from Japan by its Founder and Chief Instructor, Sensei Hitoshi Kasuya.
The federation is represented in over 100 countries. Its Chief Instructor spends a good deal of time each year travelling and teaching in member countries, to keep a consistent and high technical standard throughout the organisation.
