Develop focus

Attention with purpose. Everyday life is fast-paced and full of distractions. A karate class is a time to focus on one thing.

01At WSKF

One thing, done with full attention.

How focus is trained

  1. One instruction.

Training comes with specific instructions and goals.

  2. One goal.

The belt system and gradings break larger goals into smaller ones, reached one at a time.

  3. One movement.

Karate movements and competition need a great deal of focus and concentration on your own body and every action.

03Beyond the dojo

A habit you can take with you

Focusing on your own movements and actions, one thing at a time, is a habit students practise every class, and one they can carry into other parts of life.
