Better social skills

Karate is practised with other people from the very first class. Good manners, listening, partner work, leading and following are part of every class, and they are trained like any other skill.

Partners in class. Friends outside it.

Not everyone in class will be your age, but many will be, and training partners become friends. WSKF Australia also works hard at fundraising throughout the year for its competition team members, and members are invited to special events and seminars.

Beyond Australia, WSKF Japan is like a big family of people from all over the world, coming together every year or two to compete, socialise and train together.
