Common questions
Quick answers.
Family day care is an approved form of early childhood education and care provided in a family home by qualified educators. Children are cared for in small groups, which supports learning, development and wellbeing in a setting that feels familiar and calm. The Australian Government publishes a plain-language overview, linked above.
The Child Care Subsidy is an Australian Government payment that helps families with the cost of approved child care. Eligibility and the amount you may receive are determined by Services Australia based on your circumstances. Inspired Kids Family Day Care is CCS approved, but we cannot assess your eligibility — Services Australia does that.
ACECQA, the national authority, publishes the National Quality Framework and information on how education and care services are assessed and rated. Their website is an official source for information about the National Quality Framework and service assessment.
The Queensland Department of Education covers schooling, early years information and enrolment guidance for families across Queensland.
