About the service
Long Day Care through Inspired Kids gives families access to education and care in welcoming family-home environments, with qualified educators supporting children’s learning, play and everyday routines.
Across a longer care period, children can move through play, everyday routines, learning experiences and quieter moments in ways that respond to the children in the group and the educator’s home environment.
Educator operating hours and availability vary between individual educators, so Long Day Care does not look identical everywhere. Tell us the hours you need and our team can discuss which educator arrangements may suit your family’s requirements.

Long Day Care

At Inspired Kids, Long Day Care refers to education and care across a longer part of the day within our Family Day Care model. Care is provided by qualified educators in family-home environments and smaller groups, which supports learning, development and wellbeing in a familiar setting.
Operating hours differ from educator to educator, so there is no single timetable we can publish. The practical answer is to tell us the hours your family needs and we can discuss which educator arrangements may suit. Call 07 3274 4729, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
Inspired Kids Family Day Care is Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved. Whether your family is eligible, and for how much, is determined by Services Australia rather than by us. Their information is linked on our resources page.
There is no single identical timetable for every educator or every day. Educators provide an educational program informed by children’s needs, interests and experiences, with play, everyday routines and learning opportunities forming part of the day.
