About the service
After School Care gives school-age children a welcoming home-based environment after classes finish, with care provided through qualified Family Day Care educators.
After school, a home-based setting can provide a familiar change of pace before the rest of the evening. Children arrive into a small group and a familiar home, with opportunities to talk, play or have quieter time.
School pick-up and drop-off support may be available depending on the educator, school and agreed family arrangements. It is worth raising early when you enquire, along with the days and times you need, because educator availability varies.

School pick-up support may be available, but it is not automatic. It depends on the individual educator, the school in question, your family’s requirements and current availability. Please raise it when you enquire so we can check what is possible.
Educator operating hours vary depending on the individual educator and each family’s care requirements, so afternoon arrangements are discussed with you rather than set to a fixed timetable.
Inspired Kids Family Day Care is Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved. Eligibility and the amount your family may receive are determined by Services Australia, and their information is linked on our resources page.
