The service

Workshops, pitched at the room that turns up.

A booked level and an actual level are rarely the same thing. The session is planned properly, then adjusted in the first fifteen minutes once it is clear who is standing in the room.

For dance schools and studios it is technique and repertoire. For company teams it is usually a different job entirely: getting forty people who do not dance to do one thing together, and enjoy it.

Two hours, half a day or a full day. Contemporary, classical or commercial, or a mix, depending on what the group came for.

Why Maneesha

Read the room first, then teach it.

  • 01

    Adaptable

The plan survives contact with the actual group. Mixed ability rooms get layered, so nobody is bored and nobody is lost.

  • 02

    Energetic

Two hours goes quickly when a room is moving. Nobody stands at the back watching for long.

  • 03

    Achievable

Everyone leaves having learned the same thing, at whatever level they can do it. That is the whole point of a workshop.

Four easy steps

From enquiry to the room.

  1. Step 01

    Enquire

Tell us the group, roughly how many, and what you want them to walk out with.

  2. Step 02

    Discuss

A call to agree level, length, style and what the space can handle.

  3. Step 03

    Confirm

Date, duration, group size and a clear price.

  4. Step 04

    Run it

The session, adjusted live to whoever turns up.

In their words

Our team ranged from trained dancers to people who had never taken a class. Somehow everyone left having learned the same routine.
Chamari W.Studio owner
Booked it as a team day and it became the thing people talked about for weeks afterwards.
Peter A.Operations manager
She read the room in about ten minutes and rebuilt the session around it. The students loved it.
Dilani R.Dance school
Two hours went in what felt like twenty minutes. We have already booked the next one.
