What is a Level 1 ASP?

A Level 1 Authorised Service Provider (ASP) is a contractor specifically accredited by the NSW distributor networks to design and construct customer-owned works that connect to, or impact, the high-voltage distribution network. This is a classification that sits above and beyond a standard electrical licence.

As a Level 1 ASP, Elixir Powerlines is authorised to carry out works including: New overhead and underground service connections to the distribution network, Augmentation and alteration of existing network-adjacent infrastructure, High-voltage works on privately owned assets, Design and construction of overhead lines and underground cables connecting to distributor networks

These are works that a licensed electrician — no matter how experienced — is not legally permitted to perform. When your project requires connection to or interaction with the distributor network, you need a Level 1 ASP. You need Elixir Powerlines.
